Presidential Executive Order on Illegal Immigration

Exectuive Order on illegal immigration is unconstitutional and will further burden Social Security, and reduce job availability to Americans, especially knowing that they are ineligible for ACA and employers would save $3000 per hire per year based u

Article One section 8 of our nations Constitution states that it is Congress who shall make all laws, and Article 2 Section 3 states that the President shall take care that the laws will be faithfully executed. Nowhere in the Constitution does it give the President the power o make laws.

This is an egregious violation of the Constitution can not stand. In addition to this violation, the President is not faithfully executing the immigration laws as passed by Congress.

This is not "prosecutorial discretion," it is not blatant ignoring of existing law. No, because the President's order takes the active step of issuing a government document to a selected group of illegal immigrants, that document being a work permit, he is enacting a new law that doesn't exist.

These illegal immigrants will be contributing to and receiving benefits from Social Security. Since Social Security tax revenue is not keeping up with it's obligations and hasn't done so for the past 4 years, it is important that we don't burden this program further.

This blatant power grab sets a bad precedent, and our system of checks and balances based upon 3 "co equal" branches of government is imperiled. I call upon Congress to do everything within its power to reverse this illegal and unconstitutional order.
