President Trump's Accountability for 'Insurrection'
To start, if Donald Trump had been elected as a Democrat, his attacks over the last 4 years would have been against Republicans.
Just saying, think about that prospective .
President Trump has followed his own agenda for his self glorification and personal financial gain throughout his term.
Due to his obsessions for power to the extreme results of the violent and deadly march on the Capital on January 6th, it has become apparent that this President needs to be held accountable. Most agree.
How to do this without further angering any of his followers is one goal that needs to be solved in a way that does not fuel any fires. Most agree
Many of the millions of Trump supporters were just as shocked by the the level of violence that was witnessed. Those Trump supporters are not all guilty of any crime. We should not further alienate them. They were misinformed and should not be persecuted.
The recommendation set forth in this petition is to disable Donald Trump's ability to ever hold any government office giving him power over any part of of our nation. Also, removed all financial gain that would normally follow a president after his term ends.
This will hurt Trump more than any thing. It is what is dearest to him.
It could be further considered that non violent protesters and protesters that did not breach the Capital building not be made to feel guilty. They are victims.
