Please Vote"No" on Sacramento River National Heritage Designation
Let Congress know that the citizens of California do not want a National Heritage Designation in the Sacramento River Delta at this time.
We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the 111th Congress refrain from passing Bills S.3927 and H.R. 6329 that designate the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta Region as a National Heritage Area. Due to the fact that there is strong and growing opposition to a National Heritage Area in the Delta, we believe that all initiatives for regional designation need to be retained by local government.
