Please Help Save Flushing Meadow Corona Park
Please Prevent NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, USTA, and Major League Soccer from Destroying Our Public Parkland.
In New York City's Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, this beautiful and historical park has been threatened by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, United States Tennis Associate and Major League Soccer Team.
They want to destroy the parkland for extention of tennis stadium, building new stadium for Major League Soccer and building shopping mall and parking lots.
With these, traffic and air pollution could come to this beautiful park.
This park is only on northern shore of Queens, where communites along NYC Subway's (7)-train line and LIRR, neighborhoods and residents come here to play in field, or have relaxing moment.
This park plays an important role for Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival and Cinco de Mayo.
Major League Soccer need to use CitiField for their soccer team because Yankees Stadiums allows college football and concert, Meadownland Stadium in New Jersey alllows concern and why can't Major League Soccer Team do same by using CitiFIeld.
Please help save our beautiful Flushing Meadow Park.
