Please help me to live in less pain
Pain management doctors refusing to prescribe opiate medication after 5 years
I have survived ARDS, three out of four die. I was in ICU, on a ventilator for 21 days. My husband was told I would not survive the night to call the family and funeral home. After 4 chest tubes, multiple infections and a blood clot my stay was 32 days and then transferred to Health South Rehabilitation with a new allergy to heparin. I was discharged on Norco 5/325 1every 4 hours. Trying to function was a struggle so the dose was increased to 10/325 four times a day up until this January 2016, almost five years after being prescribed to me. I have signed contracts and never broke them, due to the new laws my Dr said he had to stop because the government and CDC said it is too dangerous. I have been diagnosed with multiple spondylosis now and hurt worse than before. Please help me and others who need the medication to have quality of life.
