PETITION TO INVESTIGATE CORRUPTION IN THE BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. DSS

HELP NOTIFY CONGRESS OF CORRUPTION IN BUNCOMBE CTY., NC DSS/CPS

First of all, I want to say that I just accidentally marked someone's comment on a petition from Asheville, N.C., thinking that's how I could get to the place where I sign. Instead, it marked it for possible deletion. I CERTAINLY DON'T WANT TO DELETE THE SIGNATURE OF A PERSON FROM BUNCOMBE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA! My first grandchild was wrongfully taken by DSS in Haywood County, North Carolina. DSS and cops barged in and handcuffed my daughter and took her newborn, just on the word of a person who had a vendetta against my daughter. The accusation was never investigated. I will go into detail with Congress if they will hear me, as they should. The end result was my daughter's case being looked at by Buncombe County when she gave birth to her second son, and that false allegation was again held against her. Very long story short, a Buncombe County DSS worker lied in a court report at least once that I know of. My daughter has lost her kids; her marriage, and now her mind. I am suffering from PTSD as a result of four years of this corruption. My older grandchild, now four years old, is in trauma counseling. The TPR is scheduled to take place in February. We were told by Lacey Townsend, the social worker for this case at that time, that after one year the case was required by law to be changed from reunification to adoption. I have just found out that it was a lie; the law says no such thing. My grandsons are about to be adopted. At this point, IF the boys are truly in good hands, as I have no doubt they are, I think it would be detrimental to their little lives and cause them more trauma, if they were now taken away from their foster mother, whom they know as "Mommy". She plans to adopt them. The corruption of the Department on this family cannot be undone. But I do want to remedy this situation legally as best I can, by punishing the Buncombe County, North Carolina Department of Social Services, and Child Protection Services particularly, in some major way, such as firing the whole lot of them. The judges here seem to order anything the DSS requests, lies or not; they don't know the difference. I also think DSS/CPS should be investigated and its employees humiliated publicly. Social workers and GALs have come and gone suddenly over the last couple of years. There's something going on there that needs a good legal eye and a heavy hand. LAWS NEED TO BE CONSTANTLY AND CONSISTENTLY ENFORCED. In other words, DSS/CPS and its workers should be under constant, heavy scrutiny and be held accountable for what they do and how they do it. Law suits should be filed! I respectfully ask Congress to support my position on this very important matter. What is more important in America, than families?
