Petition For Officer Monitoring
Probable Cause Affirmed
Often times arrest are made and cases are prosecuted from offenses that stem from the unconstitutional support of illegal searches and seizures. Searches and seizures that are the "fruits of a poisonous tree", or in other words; with the benefit of hindsight. Officers perform searches illegally and from whatever they find after the fact (also allowing room for distrustful acts by officers to justify there actions) they make arrest and submit affidavits for indictments accordingly. Many people have been made victim of these facts and suffer because of these actions. It is on behalf of those (as well as myself) that I suggest that "maybe" a mediator is put in place of Police Officers moving to perform their duties beyond contact of "Citizens" and probable cause. In proposal; officers should make lawful contact and upon gathering assessment of situations, notify a dispatching office on if through initial assessment; 'if" a search is warranted/approved. Ignorant to the Law is no excuse, but manipulation of authority should bear no foundation either.
