People Against the Democrats' Bill to End the Electoral College
We the Citizens Of the United States humbly ask the Congress to dismiss or never legalize Senator Barbara Boxer's initiative of the Bill that proposes the end of the Electoral College. We the people of the United States of America believe that the Electoral College is actually a moderating force. It avoids excessive regionalism and factionalism. Parties cannot win by a narrow coalition. Nor can they win by trying to run up the score where they are popular.The Democratic Party of which Senator Boxer is a member personify the dangers of regionalism/factionalism. Their coalition involves getting Tammany Hall level numbers in NYC, California, Philadelphia, Chicago, and losing everywhere else. We do not want to elect a president because one party is able to get machine level voting in a very limited number of areas that are densely populated, while the vast majority of the nation is shut out.
We also believe that this proposal comes in the aftermath of the Presidential Election 2016 that was won by Mr. Donald Trump, as an attempt to undermine the fair and Constitutional election of Mr. Trump. The Democrats failed as a political party to expand their base, and relied on a turnout theory to win elections.
There has been a high number of electoral fraud reports on social media and on printed media, of undocumented people who were allowed to vote for the Democratic Party in states like California, New York, Illinois, Texas, and Florida, situation that might have changed -illegally- the number of popular votes in favor of the Democratic Presidential candidate.
In addition, we the citizens of the United States respectfully and humbly ask the Congress to allow the Electoral College to recount the eligible votes in the above mentioned states because voting as a non-citizen in a US Federal election carries legal penalties. Still there is a lot of confusion among the American people at this time, caused by the California Assembly Bill No. 1461 that leaves the choice up to the individual, to register with a driver license only in order to vote in ALL California ballots, including in a Federal election, which is punishable by law.
We hope that our action will protect the American Electoral system, the fairness of our elections, and the American Constitution, against those who, one way or another, try to undermine our Republic.
