Pass Senate Budget Amendment to end \"Too Big to Fail\"

In a bipartisan vote, the Senate has unanimously voted to end subsidies and funding advantages for banks with more than $500 billion in assets. This budget amendment must now be passed in the House.

Louisiana Republican Senator David Vitter and Ohio Democrat Senator Sherrod Brown came together to create a budget amendment ending "Too Big to Fail". Their amendment ends subsidies and funding advantages for banks with more than $500 billion in assets. The Senate united for the American tax payer and unanimously supported their amendment in a vote of 99-0. Big banks make an estimated $83 billion a year in profits and are not in need of our tax dollars. It is time to give that money back to the American people. I urge you to unite for the American tax payer and pass Vitter and Brown's budget amendment. This is an issue the House can unite on. Please end "Too Big to Fail".
