We are in the middle of a heroin crises and losing so many lives on Staten Island... We need detox beds... We have an old jail, The Arthur Kill Correction facility that closed and the building is vacant and not being utilized ... To my knowledge it was a rehab many years ago. We need to make it one again.... That is the perfect space .... Too many addicts are being turned away that want and ask for help... The hardest part is to get an addict to finally commit to treatment and we cannot be turning them away!!' Please help Staten Island WE NEED DETOX BEDS!!!!
