To insure that The Constitution of The United States only applies to citizens and not illegal immigrants. If you come to this country illegally, you have no rights. You will be detained without due process and quickly deported to your country of origin. If you are a repeat offender, the penalty could possibly be life in prison along with hard labor. Drug or human trafficking carries the possibility of life in prison as well as death. If you are in this country illegally and cause the death of another, there is no trial, you are executed for your crime as soon as a confession or dead to right evidence is found.
