Nonviolent drug offenders
This needs to be changed. So many low level addicts are being sentenced and treated as high level dealers. They have an addiction but yet being sentenced to 20 years in prison..more then most rape and murder charges. These are low level alleged dealers. Hendricks county of indiana are maxing people out on addiction linked crimes. Indiana needs more rehabilitation and community correction sentence. Teach them how to function in society, take care of their responsibilities not lock them away.
