I am a pet lover, (Dalmatian). I purchased a Bissell Crosswave Pro Max based on it looked appropriate for my whole house wood floors & Ms. Bissell presented as pet friendly corporation. I thought win, win even if it did not work as good as the commercial. When I received I was shocked. Just below the silhouette of the dog on the box it clearly said "Made in China". Is this a sick joke on pet lovers? I called Bissell Corporation customer service and asked how they could present as pet friendly when they make their products in China. I was told this was confidential & proprietary. Bissell Corporation's entire marketing campaign is that "every purchase saves pets lives" TM. China is the number 1 consumer of dog meat in the world. Pet friendly? I think not! I find this outrageous & deceptive. Clearly, Bissell Corporation does not want to pay a living wage to USA workers, that is why they moved production to China. But then to market themselves as pet friendly, Wow, REALLY! Folks, I am just an average Joe (Jeffrey). I simply do not understand how Bissell Corporation should be allowed to market their products in such a way. Thank you for listening (reading).
