Metric System
I believe that our Country should adopt the Metric System.
I believe that our nation should choose to adopt the Metric System. In other countries they use this remarkable system. The Metric System is so much more powerful than our already existing English System. We use this system in our Science classes which is some much more precise than using the old and almost globally abandoned English System. Why are we choosing to be the last country to make the switch. The cause of the famous Challenger Explosion was because of two engineers comparing data. Each engineer used a different system. I want to be just like the other countries and hopefully in the future to not have that problem. Now I do understand all of the changes that would have to occur, i.e. road signs. But this change is very important and I strongly believe that you should SUPPORT this petition and finally join the crowd. Switching to the METRIC SYSTEM would be one of the greatest things to happen in this decade for our blossoming country.
