mandatory retirement and term limits
If term limits are good for the President then we should have term limits on congress and other federal officials. Here is what I propose for term limits. 12 years in congress. 2 terms as a senator or six as a representative or a combination that can not exceed 12 years. Mandatory retirement should be 80 years old. And this means if you are going to reach 80 for the term you are running for then you can not run. Judges would know as well as everyone when they will have to retire. No surprises except an unexpected death.
