Make TriCare cover the cost of infertility treatments and procedures.
Our military soldiers and spouses sacrifice a lot for our country.
Dear Congress,
We are asking that you pass a bill that makes TriCare cover infertility treatments and IVF, IUI and other procedures to help our military have the family they dream of having.
Our men and women and their spouses sacrifice a lot for our Country. As a Vet and Spouse of a retired military Vet I have seen first hand how devastating to military families not to be able to expand their family. I am also a mother of military spouse that received the news that her husband could not have children. It was not only heartbreaking for her but her husband.
Military families should have the option to be able to go through the procedures necessary to have a child.
The cost is expensive for these families. Why can't our insurance be required to pay for those procedures so our military families do not have to go in debt. I am sorry to form you, military does not get paid enough to have to worry about another expense that could go towards the child's education.
Please find it in your heart to pass this. I have tons of stories from military members and their spouses. God forbid they get killed in a war the US seems deemed to fight. Let them have a family to carry on. Not only for the soldiers injured in combat but for all our soldiers.
