Make tobacco illegal
The health of The United Staes of America.
Dear President,
Lately lots of people are trying to be healthier and make the enviroment healtheir. There are lots of unhealthy people in this world. The enviroment isnt very healthy either. But tobacco dosent help that situation at all. It actually makes it alot worse. I was currently a smoker but I have quit for my children.
Tobacco is one of the top ten dangerous drugs, and yet it is still legal. There are poeple who dont smoke that are effected by tobacco smoke. Some even die from it. Tobacco causes several diseases which are all life threatening. Cannibus which is illegal is alot less harmful then tobacco. It dosent even cause cancer and it is illegal. I found a study that was done that cannibus can actually reduce the size of cancer ( http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/04/070417193338.htm ).Im not saying cannibus shouldnt be illegal. What Im saying is tobacco is alot more dangerous then cannibus so it should be illegal to. Tobacco effects every part of the body in some way. If the government is going to make a drug illegal that reduces the growth of cancer then why not make a drug that causes cancer illegal to?
Tobacco dosent have any good effects at all. It damages and kills alot of things. So why not just take it away and the world will have one less problem to face. It will definitely make alot of people healthier. The government has the power to make that choice. Why not make a good choice for the people of The United States of America? It could in no way make anything worse. Do it for your husband/wife, your kids/grandkids, for your whole family, and the enviroment that those people have to live in everyday. Theres no reason not to. It would do nothing but make this world better place. I really do hope you all consider to make this happen.
