Make Effects of Cutting Social Programs Visible to Those Who Are Responsible by Putting Homeless Shelters in Their Neighborhoods

We believe that the reason people vote against social programs is because they never have to see or come in contact with the devastating effects their votes have and are thus ignorant. By putting homeless shelters in regions where a majority vote for representatives that vote against social programs, we can educate people so they can then make more informed decisions. If after living in eyesight of the devastation that their votes cause, they are still willing to cause it, then that is fair enough.

We believe a program needs to start that funds the installation of homeless shelters in the above described regions and busses people to and from said shelters. We believe this program needs to be funded and aggressively administered by the federal government to avoid obstruction from dishonest local representatives. Further, we believe the current apportionment of homeless shelters is in large part the result of actions that violate the Fair Housing Act, or at least its very spirit and essence, and that this program will provide some relief from these glaring, reckless, and ongoing indiscretions.

Please help us to educate our population and build a better country by removing the physical distance between the unfortunate and the willfully ignorant that seek to further deprive them.
