Maintain Veterans\' Benefits
Do not cut Veterans' Benefits.
When our fellow citizens VOLUNTEER for the dedication and sacrifice required on their part to join our military, taking on the responsibility of all enemies, foreign and domestic, it is insulting to deny them our end of the contract when they have upheld theirs.
I call on We, The People to defend the veterans who have so willingly stepped up to defend us. It matters not if you agree with the present president, with war, with congress. It does not matter. What matters is the contract being signed by these individuals is not being honored when we discuss cutting the benefits and pensions they have sacrificed so much, and for our sake, out of love of country.
Honor the veterans as they have honored us. Maintain their benefits and pensions. It's the right thing to do. So is signing this petition.
