France and Qatar have already recogized the Transitonal National Council as the sole legitimate representative of the Libyan people. Hopefully other nations including the US, will soon join them in order for the people of Libya to begin the transition of power from the Gaddafi regime until a new democratically elected government can be established. This is going to take time, and it will not be easy, but now is the time to begin this process. Please join me in signing this letter in support of New Libya.REPORT COMMENTS

Dear President Obama, On behalf of the defenseless children, women, man and elderly of Libya, I would like to thank you for helping to save their lives. Please don?t forget the people that are being kidnapped from Gaddafi?s checkpoints, tortured and murdered on a daily basis by the Gaddafi family and their gangs. Please don?t forget about the women, as young as 14 years old, who are being kidnapped and raped. Please don?t forget about Eman Al-Obeidy, a Libyan lawyer, who was kidnapped from one of Gaddafi?s checkpoints and take away to be gang raped by 15 of Gaddafi?s thugs. The Gaddafi check points are significant launching stages of Gaddafi?s attacks on civilians. The checkpoints are being used to kidnap men to be taken away to be used in battle against the Libyan people and the international coalition force, and being used to kidnap women to be raped as a way of terrorizing the Libyan people. Mr. President, Gaddafi?s checkpoints are a legitimate target for the enforcement of UN resolution 1973. Please order the immediate elimination of these checkpoints to relief the agony of the Libyan people. Best Regards, Dr. Monem AlyaserREPORT COMMENTS

Members of Congress. It appears that US recognition of the TNC in Benghazi is imminent. So please let's hasten the process and get these freedom fighters the weapons they need to defeat Gadhafi. A long stalemate is in nobody's best interest, except for perhaps Iran, Russia, etc... Thank youREPORT COMMENTS
