Let Us Keep the Hour

Daylight savings time (DST) is no longer needed or wanted. We propose to abolish DST in order to keep the hour and return to standard time on March 13, 2022. DST is unhealthy for all people since it forces us to stay up longer and adjust our sleep patterns for energy conservation. DST is linked to 'increased cardiovascular morbidity,' 'sleep loss,' and 'disrupted biological rhythms.' We urge Congress to abolish DST and allow the people to keep the hour of sleep.
