Keep Combat Pay for U.S.Troops and their families

Fighting for your life everyday in a hazardous area ALWAYS poses imminent danger, Lets Keep our men and woman safe and their families secure.

Starting this month, the Defense Department will calculate imminent danger pay by the day rather than the month, Up to now, servicemembers received a full month?s imminent danger pay $225 for spending even a single day in designated hazardous areas. The change, signed into law by President Barack Obama on December. 31 as part of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Why is is that danger pay is now daily and now combat pay is done. These should not be cutbacks, the pay my husband and my family receives in the event he never returns home in 1 year! I ask you to to rethink and rethink this, there are just way to many young men and woman who take the ultimate sacrifice and now they have to take that sacrifice knowing that even in imminent danger they are not getting the financial support for their families. I just believe that there are more ways to cut back through the military such as not paying Military Occupational Specialty extra combat pay/hazard pay while living in their homes in the united states, most defiantly not in a hazardous area! Please consider all the military men and woman and their families that rely on these pays to help while their loved ones are not with them but in imminent danger at all times.
