Victims of the Liberian civil war are yet to get Justice while warlord intimidate citizens into voting them in office. We want Justice for Liberia.

Justice for Liberia

In 2005 democratic elections were held in Liberia paving a way for a fragile but suitable peace and with the help of the international community Liberia has enjoyed relative social stability for the past 10 years under the regime of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. However, Liberians has being denial justice for the brutal civil war that claim the lives of over two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) people from 1990 to 2003. Victims of families are yet to get justice for the death of their love ones and family members.

Sierra Leonian were able to get justice when brutal warlord Charles G. Taylor was arrested and trial for supporting rebels in Sierra Leone. Charles Taylor was convicted on 11 counts including aiding and abetting of the rebels in Sierra Leone but Liberia and Liberians got nothing instead. No one, not a single person was arrested or trial for aiding and abetting Charles Taylor. Justice for Liberians has being denial and despite many calls by Liberians for a war crime court in Liberia the international community continue to play a deaf ear to the plight of Liberians. The current regime has refuse to implement a Truth and reconciliation recommendations because it implicate and ban President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and other officials from politics for 30 years.

Warlords and murderers continue to roam the streets of Monrovia, intermediating average citizens to vote the into public offices. One of those warlords is Prince Johnson, current Senator of Nimba. We want Justice For Liberia and we need it Now!
