Join The Florida Sheriff\'s Campaign Against Medical Marijuana
Thousands of Florida teens die annually in auto accidents due to alcohol. We do not need to expose our teens to legal Marijuana, therefore killing more by driving while "high".
Dear Fellow Patriots,
I am acutely aware that 200-300 Floridians who "may" benefit from Medical Marijuana due to health issues. I am also aware that there are millions of young people (especially our teens) who use Marijuana (and other illicit drugs) just for the "high".........(a feeling of euphoria).
As a disabled Veteran who qualifies for medical Marijuana (like thousands of our Veterans do), but refuse to use it. I vehemently disapprove of Florida legalizing Medical Marijuana for revenue for the State of Florida, and in doings so, jeopardizing the health and safety of our teens.
I, like millions of Florida Seniors, agree with the Florida Sheriff's Campaign against Medical Marijuana. Of all people, our Law Enforcement Officers see more deaths from accidents (automobile and overdoses) caused my alcohol and illicit drug abuse.
If the Florida Sheriffs are campaigning against the legalization of Marijuana, I proudly join them in a heartfelt effort to save lives (especially our young loved one that are taken from us much too soon).
Dear Florida Seniors, please join the Florida Sheriff's Campaign, Florida Governor Rick Scott, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Sheriff Sadie Darnel, myself and thousands of disabled Veterans who choose not to "use" and vote "NO" to legalizing Marijuana on the November ballot.
Prior to January 1, 2014, signing petitions had a requirement from the administration to obtain at least 25,000 signatures to deem a response. President Obama's administration has raised the bar and changed the requirement to 100,000 signatures, that must be acquired within one month to deem a response. So please forward to everyone you know to get this petition signed expeditiously!
