Increase the Budget for National Park Services
2016 is the 100 Year Anniversary of the National Park Services
Congress needs to increase the funding for the National Parks Services. They have cut funds by 20% since 1990. The parks are now operating at two-thirds of their operational costs. I am 10 years old and I visited the amazing Yellowstone National Park this summer. I was enthralled by the wildlife and geothermal aspects of Yellowstone. I am worried that with less and less funds going to national parks, Yellowstone will become unable to protect its wildlife and its other special features. Yellowstone is a national treasure and should be protected.
