IMMEDIATELY STOP THE TRANSPORTATION OF EQUINES FROM THE US TO SLAUGHTER IN MEXICO AND CANADA.
To put an immediate halt to any Transportation or intent to do so, from Kill Pens, Collection Lots, Auctions, Feed Lots, over our U.S borders, where equines are intended for slaughter there..
We understand there is a Safe Act to be considered in October, and voted on. Unfortunately, MANY equines will have been transported and slaughtered between now and then. There are hundreds being transported weekly from Kill Pens, Collection Lots, Feed Lots and Auctions. The Kill Pens etc give concerned citizens a couple of days to buy or ' bail out' some that are rideable, cute etc.... but there are many who could be bailed out, if they are given time. Equines weren't raised for slaughter. They were raised to carry children, adults and become loved members of families. They have helped people throughout history, and will even defend their ' person' if needed. They are sensitive, sweet and patient, and are even used to bring healing to some who are in need of unconditional love. WE THE UNDERSIGNED FEEL THEY ARE 'PETS', and feel it is a travesty that they are being shipped to a heinous slaughter. WE ASK FOR AN IMMEDIATE HALT IN THE TRANSPORTATION OF THEM FOR THIS REASON, AND THE ROUNDING UP OF WILD ONES... where slaughter is being considered an option. There have been BLM horses with brands, rescued from Kill Pens. PLEASE CONSIDER OUR REQUEST...... thank you so much for your consideration, kindness and compassion.
