Please support the Medical Device Safety Act 2017 H.R. 2164 #MDSA17
Medical devices should not be given preemption. It takes our rights away when these devices continually hurt or even kill people. A good example would be the birth control device called Essure. It's is a medical device given Class III preemption. It has hurt thousands of women. Some women and babies have even died due to its design and toxic materials used. Now it's been given a black box warning and some doctors aren't informing women of it. Doctors are still glorifying and implanting this device because they get paid 3 times more than "tying tubes". Please help us to help others by passing H.R. 2164.
