Hospital Accountability
To Whom It May Concern:
As our country is facing its greatest threat from COVID19, we feel that hospital systems including management have put their employees at risk by not securing enough protective equipment for staff. Our country is founded on free enterprise, and rather than blame the government for ill preparation- we feel an independent investigation of every health system should be initiated to see how long they knew about the coming danger and steps taken to prepare. Rather than making the President or Congress scapegoats for the failure of independent private hospitals to prepare for COVID19, we request an independent counsel to be established and that physicians and staff not be terminated or punished for expressing concerns about their safety.
