HOA KARENS
HOAs should be illegal. Homeowners pay outlandish fees and are at the mercy of the HOA. They spy. They bully. I feel as though I only own the mortgage and not the house. HOAs are unconstitutional and violate MY rights as an American. Fourth Amendment is being violated and my freedom of choice. In some instances they have violated the Fair Housing Act with their dictator-like authority. The homeowners in these communities should not be subject to board members on a power trip. I pay the fees and yet they tell me what I can and cannot do. I have to pay their fee hikes regardless of their poor and costly decisions with no consideration or compassion at all to anyone's financial or health status.
