Helping innocent families against Massachusetts DCF
Looking to keep children with good parents that need services for certain needs, but are not actually being abusive or neglectful.
I am petitioning on behalf of the Massachusetts DCF. After dealing with DCF personally myself lately, I strongly encourage a better system for DCF to follow with. I believe they need to have more sufficient evidence to follow through with their emergency custody procedures. They should have stronger reasons and evidence to support their allegations of abuse and/or neglect. After dealing with them personally, and reading many other stories, it seems they are out to just take an easy, complying parents child(ren) to make an easy dollar. That is not right whatsoever. I thought their main goal is to keep children with the parent(s)? So why are they taking children over every little thing, that dosnt even pertain to the children directly? Why are there parents like myself that, yes could use some support and some services, just having our children taking from us, even though we are still providing for our children's well being beyond minimal expectations? Why is DCF not giving us the chance to keep our children at home, with the option to comply in certain services and programs firsthand? Why are they contradicting what they preach against certain parents? I do believe we do need a program like DCF to protect children. Of course. Dont get me wrong. There are children being beaten, sexually assulted, not fed properly, parents that just don't care about their off spring one bit. But not every parent is like that. Some of us parents cherish our children more than air itself! Just because we have some issues, does not mean we're neglectful and need our children taken away. What is that doing for the child(ren)? Nothing good. It's destroying children. Destroying good families. DCF really should be here to protect children against serious allegations, and help minor issues. Keep families intact, and genuinely want to help! Our children are the future, they are destroying everyone and everything good the future has to offer. Theres no hope, love, or security for children, with DCF destroying families like this! I firmly believe they could be more reasonable with decision making. As i stated, stronger, firmer evidence on legitimate abuse or neglect directly towards child(ren). Parents should also have the right to view the report or evidence right away or whenever asked. Nothing should always be hidden from the parent(s). DCF should have different 'levels' of allegations/abuse/negelct as well. High, medium, low, no risk, sort of system. It would better define whether children stay home, place with relative, temporary foster care, or permanent foster care. And which services need to be mandatory met in those categories. DCF should within reason, before taking the child(ren), should actually and genuinely try to come up with every option to keep children in the home. (Not just say they did.) Give the chance of certain services or programs to be accomplished in a timely manner first hand. If a parent fails, then take further action. (Again, DCF needs to actuall
