Help More Vulnerable Children Find Homes!

Right now, throughout the world, there are millions of children who do not have a place to call their own, who don't have families to give them love and support. As Jews, but more so as people of conscience, we cannot stand idly by this silent suffering, with the knowledge that children are left exposed to the elements of indifference and alienation. For these reasons, and more, we urge people to support the passage of the Vulnerable Children and Families Act of 2017. This bi-partisan bill, introduced by Senators Roy Blunt (R-MO) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), as well as Representatives Kay Granger (R-TX) and Brenda Lawrence (D-MI), assists vulnerable children by finding them "permanent homes by enhancing U.S. diplomatic efforts around international child welfare" as well as "ensuring that intercountry adoption to the United States becomes a more viable and fully-developed option."

The stakes are high for these children. Now is the time to act! Please tell your Representative or Senator to support the Vulnerable Children and Families Act of 2017.
