Help me be free!
Given too harsh penalty for a first/one time offender.
In 2008 I knew of a crime that was being committed. I had never been in trouble and definitely not jail before this. I did not tell on the participating individuals which resulted in me being charged with several conspiracy counts as well as my arrest. In fear, I accepted a plea bargain of misprision of a felony at the felony level in 2010. I was discharged from probation early due to full compliance and since then I have graduated from a trade school as well as my bachelors degree. Due to my painful record and background, I am unable to find gainful employment due to failure of consumer reports and background checks. Although I didnt go to prison, I am forever imprisoned by this haunting past. Please free me from this horrible fate.
