Hazard Pay For Essential Workers in Rhode Island!
I am an essential worker in the state of Rhode Island, who has worked through the entire pandemic. I feel that those of us who worked through the entire pandemic were left behind and not compensated for the hazard of working during this time.
I am aware that new spending rules were issued this week that states and local governments can use their federal COVID-19 relief aid for hazard pay for essential workers.

I feel that all essential workers have a right to this pay. We continue to work as essential workers regardless of the risk posed to the health of our ourselves and our families.
