Without UN security council approval, action against Syria is an unjustifiable action that is internationally illegal. Arbitrary assignment of a moral responsibility does not forgo obligations to international diplomacy.REPORT COMMENTS

As a Syrian American, I greatly oppose to military intervention in Syria. Syria doesn?t need any more blood and the United States doesn?t need any more wars. Diplomacy only can solve the situation in Syria not war. Let the U.S. be a peace maker not a war maker in the world. What happened in Iraq, Lybia and Afghanistan is a good lesson for us to learn from. The U.S. has lost great number of soldiers and tremendous amount of money on those wars. In order to make peace in Syria, please stop supporting terrorist groups from Al-Qaeda, and other Islamist extreme groups. Those are the same groups that attacked the U.S. in 9/11. Those are the same groups that the U.S. fought in Afghanistan. Those terrorists in are killing innocent people in Syria, bombing the streets, destroying schools, burning hospitals, attacking archeological sites, killing religious leaders and well educated men under the cover of freedom . This is not the democracy and freedom Syrians want. Our families back home are living in continuous fear. President Bashar Al-Asad is protecting the Syrian people from those terrorists and trying to bring stability back to the country. The Syrian army is protecting our families from those terrorists. Those terrorist groups are the ones who used chemical weapons in Syria because they are the ones who would have the most advantage from a military intervention in Syria. It doesn?t make any sense that President Bashar Al-Asad would use chemical weapons against his people right when the UN investigation team went to Syria. Does it make sense that a thief would wait for the police to rob a bank? It is injustice to accuse President Assad of using chemical weapons before the UN team has even finished its investigation. It is injustice to take military action in Syria when Carla de Ponte, the leading UN investigators has recently said in an interview to Swiss TV that from listening to the testimony of victims of the Syrian conflict, there is a strong suspicion that rebels have used nerve agent sarin. She clearly said that there is not currently any evidence of government forces using chemical weapons. I urge congress to say no to military intervention in Syria.REPORT COMMENTS

Obama, you are the worst president in the history of America. We are in a debt that we can never pay off. Our economy is in the worst shape ever. You bailed out billionaires with my tax money. Where was my bail out. Billionaires don't need bail out because they are billionaires. Do you have any common sense? If their business fails then it fails. Just keep printing that money and everything is going to be ok. Take care of America, withdraw your troops from every foreign country and stop wasting my tax dollars. We have people suffering in America, take care of us first. I don't give a crap about us being the most powerful nation in the world. Why do we even need to be??? Why can't we just be a nation that takes care of its own people. You get all wrapped up in your position and loose all your common sense to do the right thing. Stop going to war, stop occupying other countries (they don't want us there), stop printing money and find real solutions to the economy, stop lying to America, stop manipulating the numbers and tell us the economy is recovering because it's not!!REPORT COMMENTS

Both sides made up of horrible people. Whomever wins will hate us just the same. Need the $$ here, but if congress has an extra trillion or so $$ it was gona spend overthere on bombs, better to spend it on the refugees in the camps outside Syria.REPORT COMMENTS
