Grant Veterans Access To Military Installations

We served and sacrificed for this Country, we should be able to shop and visit our homes.

As a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, I get several small discounts from retail and food facilities. This is their small token of appreciation for our service and sacrifice for the freedom of this Great Nation. The one place that my fellow veterans and I cannot visit and shop is our military installations. Veterans know that feeling of home and safety that we get whenever we are around military environments. It is a need that will never go away, as it is in our blood.

I am asking our Nation's government to act and give our veterans access once again to our military installations. This would be a small token of appreciation and a huge morale lift to those who served.

You teach our people to "Never Forget", but we feel forgotten in this area of our need as veterans. I ask that you take a stand for our Nation's veterans and grant us this small token of appreciation with the stroke of your pens.

Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter. President Obama, Sir, it's time for that hope and change.
