Give Trapped Survivors in Haiti a Chance! Keep the Rescue Crews There!

Rather than sending search and rescue crews home, the U.N. and other agencies should be sending for more, searching block by block in a systematic way with dogs and technology to find any possible survivors.

With the rescue in the last several days of men and women in Port-Au-Prince found in rubble up to fifteen days after the earthquake, this petition seeks to ensure that any survivors in Haiti are found -- not just accidentally or serendipitiously, but systematically, by urging all stakeholders in Haiti - the Haitian government, the U.N., USAID, the U.S. Army, etc. -- to adhere to a policy whereby remaining structures are searched with dogs and technology for signs of life -- and particularly before any are demolished!

Thank you!
