Give Felons a 2nd Chance

Once convicted of a felony, you have no chance at living a decent life or taking care of your family.

We have so many who make mistakes but are punished for life. Companies are not willing to hire Felons, Schools wont teach Felons, cant rent an apartment and even after getting a degree and showing thyself approved, a person convicted of a felon just doesn't stand a chance. What happened to equality and justice for all? What happened to the programs that assist Felons with Stable jobs to support their families. After a person has been convicted of a felony, years go by and your still unable to move forward past that one "MISTAKE". To make matters worse, you have women having to become the sole providers of the family, carrying the weight of two, barely breathing above water. I am currently a married mother of 3 daughters. My husband was convicted of a felony 5 years ago, when he was 19, with no charges since and still to this day, at 26 years old can't get employed anywhere. Can't get assistance ANYWHERE!!!!! Way to go AMERICA!
