Gentlemen and Women of The House and Senate.
You are allowing the DEA and State Drug Enforcement Officers to infringe upon our God given Civil Rights, by branding legitimate pain sufferers as criminals. How dare you allow the DEA and Doctor's to keep shared files on persons who seek legal medical care for their pain needs! This must end now! I was asked to urinate in a cup before I received my pain medication yesterday, which I am told is the "State Law" here in Texas. I want to know who the hell passed this absurd law into action.
People in pain, seeking legal and legitimate pain care from licensed physicians should not be scrutinized like common criminals. What do you want them to do? Go to drug dealers on the street and back allies for relief? This is no different than prohibition (and you see how good that worked). All you are doing is making criminals more rich and more powerful when people tell their doctors they won't be scrutinized this way and turn to street dealers for help. My doctor is a good ol Louisiana boy and he was embarrassed to ask me to urinate into a cup - as he should have been. He said the insurance companies were behind all these idiotic regulations because of liability issues. So is that who runs the State of Texas and The United States of America now? Fucking Insurance Companies and their Gestapo at the DEA and in the White House.
Are you going to let our last civil liberties be stripped away "for the good of the people" on your watch. Are you a bunch of Fascist Communists? Do you want to make the drug cartels even more rich and powerful?
