My husband has to pay $88 a month for internet and buy phone cards to call home. I'm sure thats not a problem for the single soldiers, but the soldiers who have families at home don't need that extra expense just to be able to talk to their loved ones while they serve our country.REPORT COMMENTS

these men and women are putting their lives on the line for you and me and others around the world. free internet is a very small price to pay for them to have contact with families and friends and to be able to receive encouragement from them. the government wastes soo much money that could be put to better use and this would be money well spent. My son is in the Army and will soon be deployed and just to know that I could contact him and he could contact me without worry would be such a blessing.REPORT COMMENTS
