Man Imprisoned for Song Lyrics

A young American citizen has been sent to prison for writing a rap song that contained lyrics that were deemed as threatening to two Lakeland, FL police officers. Even though civil rights attorneys seem to agree he could have beaten the charge under freedom of expression, the prosecution threatened the young man with the maximum sentence of five years imprisonment on an unrelated probation charge if he did not enter a plea of no contest to two charges of 'Threatening a public servant'. This is a clear violation of this young mans constitutional rights and a threat to the rights of all American citizens everywhere. Please, send a message to the officials of Lakeland, and to all of America, that this type of injustice will not be tolerated. Thank you to all members of Congress, the Senate and to the President of the United States for your support, and to everyone that signs this petition urging that support. Peace and God Bless.
