Florida Prisons-REDUCE 85% TIME SERVED TO 65%-BRING BACK PAROLE!!!!!!
Florida is broke, and spends way too much on keeping inmates in prison way longer than any other state, yet, crime rate HAS NOT DROPPED!! Florida is the ONLY state without Parole and the ONLY state that forces inmates to do 85% of their sentence as opposed to other states that require inmates to do 65% of their sentence. The Governor talks about building private prisons, who pays for those? In the end, we, the tax payers pay for those while government gets a break!My brother was sentenced to 20 years in prison he has now served 10 years and he still have 7 1/2 years with him serving 85 percent of his time My brother is not in the right state of mind anymore its like he went crazy after serving a sentence for a crime that didn't even score out to the time he was giving but its Florida law and Florida do whatever they want to.
