Evolution should not be taught as science in our school systems.

Evolution holds no place as fact or science in our school systems. Evolution is a belief system, and should no longer be taught in science classes.

Evolution is not science. In fact, it has been disputed countless times over the years by professors and scientists. Any theory that tries to prove how life was created, or where we came from is strictly religious theory. There was no witness to the beginning of our planet, and therefore no evolutionary claim can be honored as fact or science in our school systems. It is morally wrong to mislead children. If evolution is to be taught, it should be taught along side of the creation theory on the same level, and on equal standing. The laws of Physics and scientific law both defy the theory of evolution. There is no scientific proof that life could be created from non living compounds. Even the planetary rotation would suggest that evolution could not be possible. It is not our place to decide how people are to believe, but it is our place to teach children science and fact. Evolution is neither science or fact. I hereby petition that if the theory of evolution is to be taught in schools, is should be an elective option, not to be confused with science. If evolution is allowed to be taught, then along side of it, creationism and intelligent design should also be offered, so that students have the right to make an informed and unbiased opinion of their beliefs.

"Science now knows that many of the pillars of Darwinian theory are either false or misleading. Yet biology texts continue to present them as factual evidence of evolution. What does this imply about their scientific standards?" ?
