Enforce Child Support Orders
Enforce child support orders and stop allowing parents not take their responsibilities seriously!
Stop allowing parents to get by without paying their child support obligations as set forth by the courts. Since 2004 the father of both of my children and since 2011 the mother of my step daughter have not contacted their children or paid child support. Both my husband and I have court orders and have asked these orders be enforced with the respective child support agencies. To date there is no actions to even slap the wrists of the parents that refuse to take responsibility for their own children. The two state divisions that are handling the child support orders handle things differently and not effectively! I would like to see a mandatory enforcement of non support of children. The only people that are hurt by not enforcing the orders are the children and the people that actually step up and take the responsibility seriously! I think that if someone creates a child and then does not make attempt to support that child that they should have a clear list of penalties and that instead of our system helping our "dead beat" parents they should be helping the children! Hold our child support offices accountable for passing a parent in need of assistance off to the next party. Stop allowing our judges to excuse poor behavior of a parent that refuses to acknowledge or support their children and tell our judges to enforce the law!
