End Gun Free Zones
The solution is to eliminate gun free zones which can help deter criminals, we need to prevent criminal activity and not leave the victim defenseless. Research has shown that shooters avoid places where people can stop them. Having no weapons on campus makes these colleges targets for criminals whose only goal is to kill as many people as possible. The Second Amendment allows the people to keep and bear arms. When citizens are not allowed to bear arms, their second amendment right is taken away and they become a target for criminals. The problem is that gun-free zones take the guns out of the law abiding citizen’s hands but does not change the fact that criminals will not obey the law. End gun-free zones on our campuses and allow us to use our concealed weapon permits in our colleges.
