End Congresional subsides for Obamacare

We demand that all Members of Congress, the President, Vice President, and all political appointees in the Administration must purchase their health insurance through the Obamacare Exchange without the help of taxpayer-funded subsidies

When Congress passed the health reform law known as Obamacare in 2010, an amendment required all lawmakers and their staff members purchase health insurance through the online exchanges that the law created.

In 2013 Congress passed a ruling that all U.S. lawmakers and their staffs will continue to receive a federal contribution toward the health insurance that they must purchase through exchanges created by President Barack Obama's signature healthcare law. Congress has escaped the most onerous impact of law as it was written.

How can Congress represent the American people when they are not subjected to the same laws that law abiding Americans are subjected to ?.

We are totally opposed to any preferential or special treatment for members of Congress when it comes to President Barack Obama's healthcare law known as "Obamacare".

We demand that all Members of Congress, the President, Vice President, and all political appointees in the Administration must purchase their health insurance through the Obamacare Exchange without the help of taxpayer-funded subsidies. Further more any and all Congressional staff should be prohibited from receiving any contribution greater than what they would receive if they were not employed by a congressional office
