Eliminate All Federal Support of the NRA
The NRA is a for-profit hate group that exists only to sell more guns, no matter what.
Not 24 hours after nine innocent African-Americans were murdered by a gun-weilding white-supremacist, Charles Cotton, a spokesman for the National Rifle Association advocated that churches should hire a private security firm sponsored by the NRA and claimed that one of the victims of the massacre, Reverend Clementa Pinckney for the attack because of his vote against South Carolina's open-carry proposal.
This sick, disgusting display of ignorance and hate cannot go unanswered.
Sign this petition for force Congress and President Obama to permanently strip all federal government funding, tax incentives, deductions, grants, loans and any other form of federal support from any and all NRA organizations and activities. By funding or supporting the NRA in any manner, the federal government is supporting a nationalized hate group that continuously displays nothing but contempt and opposition for anyone or anything other than selling more guns.
If we can't shut down the NRA, we can make certain that no U.S. tax dollars go toward encouraging or enabling their despicable hate-mongering.
Nothing will stop until we - the people - make it stop.
