Elderly Insurance
I would like to address the issue of health insurance for those on medicare. It seems very unfair to me that the elderly on SSI with an example of my Moms income of $943 a month. This woman worked until she was 83 years old, then only got done when she fell going to work and broke her leg in 3 places. She is a home owner. She does have a mortgage. She also has to pay $286 a month for supplemental insurance. If it was not for me paying several of her bills she could not pay them. My request is that the elderly on Medicare have free health care and not have to pay the supplemental insurance. It feels to me that all the illegals can get free housing, food, and everything else including health insurance that our elderly whom are Americans and have paid taxes all their lives should have free health insurance. I request that you would support this petition.
