Economic Trust Proposition

Of Recent Years, we all know that our economy has been declining, and while the Source of Problems may be diverse, it has come to impress upon us that United States House of Representatives may not understand the concept of Economics which consequently has caused us to lose faith in the abilities of the Members of Congress in the field pertaining to Economics and its constituents.

The Purpose of this Petition is to:

1. Restore Faith in the Members of the Untied States House of Representatives in the area pertaining to Economics and Economic Management/Recovery.

2. Hopefully provide a refreshing course to those who may have forgotten their Economic Studies.

3. While providing those who lack a comprehensive Economic Understanding to develop a better knowledge base on Economics.

We wish to accomplish these goals by proposing:

1. The members of the House of Representatives to take a college level examination on Economics. (The particular exam in mind would be the College Board Economics AP examination that gives High School Students who take this exam to exchange the score for College credits in their respective College or University)

2. Studying for the exam would be optional and should be done so as per your own discretion(s).

3. The results will be released to the public directly from the College Board.

The Exam in question is taken annually by thousands of High School Students and is known to be graded in situations of absolute scrutiny and takes roughly 3 hours to finish. The Scores range from 1 to 5 with anything 3 and above generally granting college credits.

An exam of this level would definitely help to prove and show that the members of the United States Congress understand Basic Economic Principles and that the decisions they make logically pertain to and fall in line with beneficial economic theory and that votes and decisions taken in accordance to Economic Issues are for the Good of the Nation.
