Don\'t be a deadbeat nation!
Congress should act to raise the debt ceiling and stand by our obligations to pay our bills
Most Americans would never agree to fail to pay debts they rightly owe. By refusing to raise the debt ceiling, Congress is asking us to become a deadbeat nation. Keep discussions of fixing the deficit separate from the debt ceiling issue. Raising the debt ceiling has nothing to do with the deficit, it simply allows congress to play the bills they owe. Don't let us become a deadbeat nation; act now to raise the debt ceiling and pay our bills.
