Do your job, stop stonewalling and find a compromise on difficult issues or Get Out

The American Government was built on compromise. the legislative branch was a compromise between a system that favored populous states, and one that favored less populous ones. The electoral system was a compromise between the tyranny of the minority and the tyranny of the majority, meant to make America more than a Flash-in-the-Pan democracy that lasted only a decade or so (if that) or another country run by a handful (or less) of self-appointed tyrants, bent only on securing their own continued rule.

Flash ahead nearly 200 years, and we see a political system mired in finger-pointing, demands for everything or nothing, and two major political parties hell-bent on destroying the other, at the expense of the people they are appointed to serve.

This has to end.

If you are reading this, then you're either considering signing or else you are an officer of the United States Government, appointed by the people to serve their interests, NOT the interests of a political party, Not the interests of lobby groups, and certainly not your own career or your purse-strings.

Get Off Your Ass, Work With The Other Side, and Stop Trying To Get Everything without giving the other side anything.

By constitutional law, no member of congress is less than 25 years old, yet this concept, which we teach to children is somehow lost to the majority of you.

We the undersigned demand that you either do the job you were hired to do, which includes compromising, or get out and let someone who will take your place.
